Happy Holidays from P255Q

Hello parents and families of P255Q, As we enter the holiday season, I have taken a moment to pause and reflect on the school year so far. What I see today is a school community that works together to educate and enrich the lives of everyone here at P255Q. This is my 26th year at our school. I have been privileged to be a part of the evolution and growth of our community. This has allowed me to build upon the many excellent initiatives and structures that were created by our former teachers and administrators. I am forever grateful and I thank them all.

This year our teaching staff has worked diligently to assess our students and create structures while learning and implementing new curriculums. Our school has done and excellent job and is committed to the best practices for your children. I am proud of what we have accomplished so far. If you are a new family that has come to P255Q, you will notice that we also promote a fun environment for our students.

We were excited to have a family engagement event in October in which over 100 students, family, and staff came to our P7 site in Elmhurst for a Spooky Family Fun Night. It was fun! Food, a movie, and a costume contest with prizes sponsored by the PTA were part of the evening activities. More recently, we had our P255Q Cultural Winter Wonderland Dance . Over 200 staff, students, and their families came together to celebrate the rich cultural diversity of P255Q with dancing, food, and huge raffle prizes. It was much fun and I hope to see many of you at our parent engagement events upcoming this Winter and Spring. I wish you all great holiday season.
